Hepplewhite Pembroke Table
Pembroke tables are small drop leaf tables, with a drawer at the end, that become nearly square when the leaves are extended. Many of these tables were highly decorated with inlay as is the one shown here in Cherry. The term Pembroke may be traced to the English Countess of Pembroke, who purportedly ordered a table of this design.
