Fishtail Pipe Box
A simple design, but elegant. Traditionally, taverns kept white clay smoking pipes in these boxes (with flint & steel in the drawer). Patrons would bring their own tobacco, take a clay pipe and smoke it, after breaking off the end , thus always insuring a clean pipe.
